Just a few of the events we’ve had the pleasure of being involved in, providing PA and Lighting services. Please note we accept no responsibility for the content of external websites.

Held in the fields surrounding Alnwick in Northumberland and overlooking the infamous Alnwick Castle, Mighty Dub Fest is one of the leading VW Festivals in the UK. Held over 3 days in June, it is an award winning family festival celebrating the ‘Van Life’ scene.
There’s live music over the 3 days ranging from solo artists, duets, bands covering a wide range of genres, to a 30 piece choir – all to compliment the fun in the field.
Large arenas and large stages calls for large PA and lighting systems. We installed 6 x DAS Audio 2×18 Subwoofers with 7 DAS Aero 12a Line Array per side, along with centre fills. For on stage monitoring we installed 8 x Martin LE400’s around the stage and a DAS RF215 on drum monitor duties.
Lighting was a mixture of moving heads and moving wash fixtures along with stage blinders & hazers – All controlled from the front of house position using Avolites.
Melrose Sevens Rugby Tournament
We were asked to travel north and cross the border to the Scottish town of Melrose to provide audio and lighting for the hospitality marquees at the Melrose Sevens rugby tournament. We ran 2 stages across the weekend with local bands playing in the smaller bar tent and 3 evenings of entertainment in the Gibson Park Pavilion including, DJ’s, Bootleg Blondie, Andrew Finnegan’s Commitments and Big County.
For the main marquee we installed 6 x DAS 2×18″ Subwoofers with 6 Das Aero 12a per side with centre fills. An 8m x 6m lighting gantry was installed and populated with a mix of moving heads, moving washes and blinders.
The 2nd smaller stage was fitted out with 4 x DAS 2×15 Subwoofers and Das Aero 20a Line array all in a ground stack configuration. Lighting was mixture of LED Par and moving head fixtures.

Without a doubt, probably the most famous pub in the UK. The Tan Hill Inn is a mecca for walkers, cyclists, campervanners and live music. They have hosted some fantastic acts from local bands to some of the finest tribute and charting bands in the UK. We’ve had the opportunity provide sound for quite a few to date including Bootleg Blondie, Vicky Jackson as Pink, Noasis and Big Country.
Space is an issue in the barn but we manage to squeeze in 2 of our DAS 2×18 Subs with RF215 tops and Martin Audio monitors. Lighting was provided by the venue.
Some of the team were stranded there in 2021 in the infamous ‘snowasis’ event but survived thanks to generosity and support from the Tan Hill team. We’ll be back!
The Barn That Rocks – 800 party goers in a large farm barn, 6 hours of live music, food outlets and a well stocked bar – That is the Barn That Rocks. Peter & Barbara Fall have run this event for over 15 years, raising a vast amount of money for local charities.
We deployed a ground stacked line array system comprising of 2 DAS 2×18 Subwoofers and 4 DAS Aero 12a Line array boxer per side with centre fills to with to fill the barn with quality audio. A 6 way Martin Audio monitor rig was provided for on stage monitoring. A Simple 6m lighting truss with fixed par, moving heads and blinders at the back, all controlled from the mixing position.

The small venue with a big heart. Hutton Rudby Arts has made waves in the folk music circuit and has hosted some of the UKs finest folk artists, from solo performers to duos and 7 piece bands.
We’ve provided services for numerous events and clarity is key. The venue is fitted with a sound level meter so we needed to provide coverage throughout the venue without being too loud.
For the majority of events we install a simple but effective audio system from RCF comprising of 15″ subwoofers and 12″ tops (or 18″ and 15″ depending on the artists) with an Allen & Heath digital console at the rear of the venue which enables us to really enhance the listening experience.
Subtle lighting is provided by the venue to compliment the music genre.
If there was ever an award for local friendly community event, Scorton GOTG has to be a contender. Sited on the unique village green of Scorton North Yorkshire, the event team put on a free live show featuring local bands and artists.
Local sponsors provide the stage (2 Wagon trailers) year on year and we install a ground stacked line array system from DAS Audio with Martin Audio stage monitors. A 6m lighting truss is installed and populated with static LED Par lighting and blinders. Our ‘Front Of House’ is positioned 30m back to provide plenty of space for the revellers. Always a pleasure working on this one!
